  • Once your high quality knife lose its sharpness over time,you need to sharpen,And a good honing ceramic rod is essential to keep your kitchen knives in prime condition.The ceramic steel sharpens gently, so it protects the hight end knife’s edge for a long time.

  • Hold the sharpening steel securely by its gently curving, black handle, while drawing the blades across it. The widened, chrome-coloured bolster at the join with the blade serves both as a finger protection and provides perfect balance. At the end of the handle there is a hole for hanging it up.

  • The ceramic sharpening offers a combination of grindstone and sharpening steel: It wears only a little material from the knife’s blades and has a small raised ridge. This knife sharpener is suitable even for sensitive blades. This ceramic sharpening rodl is a reliable tool which ensures your kitchen knives regain their sharpness and are fully operational again.


  • How to sharpen with a ceramic sharpener:
  • 1. Place the tip on the end of the steel on a solid surface and apply light downward pressure to avoid slipping during the use.
  • 2. Hold and mainyour knife at a 20° angle to the steel.( Half of 90° is 45° , half of 45° is about 20°..)
  • 3. Take alternating passes across the steel on each side of your knife from heel to tip,applying light to medium pressure.
  • 4. Repeat around half a dozen times,always giving each side the same number of strokes to maintainan even cutting edge
  • 5. Cleanthe sharpening steel with water or non-abrasive brush and dry it with a clean cloth.
